Seminars and Colloquia

In IMI are organized 18 active research seminars, including the National Stochastic Seminar on and the National Informatics Seminar. As a rule, foreign scholars who visit IMI also give talks at these seminars.

The National Mathematics Colloquium is organized by the Union of Bulgarian Mathematicians and IMI and held on the premises of IMI.

  • National Mathematics Colloquium  – organized by the Union of Bulgarian Mathematicians and the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences
  • National Stochastic Seminar – organized by the Department of Operation Research, Probability and Statistics, held on Wednesday from 3PM in IMI room 403
  • National Informatics Seminar – organized by the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences
  • Algebra and Logic – organized by the Department of Algebra and Logic
  • Biomathematics and Scientific Computing – organized by the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Numerical Analysis, held once in two weeks
  • Didactic Modelling – organized by the Department of Education in Mathematics and Informatics, held once in two weeks on Mondays from 2:30PM in IMI room 478
  • Differential Equations – organized by the Department of Differential Equations and Mathematical Physics, held on Wednesday from 2:15PM in IMI room 478
  • Operations Research – organized by the Department of Operations Research, Probability and Statistics held once in two weeks on Tuesdays from 2PM in room 403
