The next meeting of the INFORMATION MODELING Seminar
will be held on November 11, 2018, at 14:00 in Room 276 of IMI. A talk on:
will be delivered by Prof. Peter Reichl, Head of Research Group Cooperative Systems, University of Vienna, Austria.
Everybody is invited.
Abstract. Over the last years, research in telecommunication networking has evolved far beyond traditional communications engineering and rather aims at integrating the perspectives of a broad variety of stakeholders into a holistic ecosystem framework. In this talk, we will discuss key aspects of this interdisciplinary approach and illustrate it with the help of some results from the area of Quality of Experience (QoE) as an interesting example of a corresponding research field, before we briefly outline the impact of the underlying paradigm change on the current evolution from the Internet of Things (IoT) towards an “Internet of People” (IoP).
