Meeting with Dr. Mark Saul at IMI–BAS

On October 26 this year, we will have the pleasure of hearing a lecture by Dr. Mark Saul on the topic:

Paths in Graphs: from the Bridges of Königsberg through Protein Sequencing to Picasso’s One-Liners

Where? – In the Conference Hall of IMI–BAS

When? – 10:00–11:00

The event will be followed (11:15–12:00) by a presentation of good STEAM practices by teachers, in the form of a Posterless Poster Session without a Big Screen (models, computer-based work, or your students’ creations).

12:00–13:00 – Light refreshments and informal conversation with Dr. Saul.

Dr. Mark Saul is a recognized teacher, RSI Director for 10 years, and Director of Competitions for the Mathematical Association of America. He has coached and taught numerous winners of
competitions, and many of his students—competitors and non-competitors—have gone on to make important contributions to mathematics and the sciences.
