Speaker: Asia Mainenti, IMI and ICMS, Sofia Hodge-Riemann balanced structures on non-Kähler manifolds Резюме:  A Hodge-Riemann balanced structure on a complex manifold is the datum of a balanced metric whose (n-1)-th power can be decomposed into the wedge product of two differential forms, satisfying the classical Hodge-Riemann bilinear relations. Such structures were introduced by X. Chen and R. Wentworth, to generalize the nonabelian Hodge correspondence to non-Kähler Hermitian metrics. However, there are no known examples of Hodge-Riemann balanced structures on non-Kähler manifolds. I will describe an explicit universal cover of the Milnor fiber by the hyperbolic plane, using automorphic forms for triangle groups. The characteristic morphism of the Milnor fibration can also be recovered, and used to construct geometric structures by universal covers on the knot complement in the 3-sphere, as well as on the complement of the singular curve in the complex plane.

В настоящото изложение се разглежда задачата за оценяване на масата на отпадъка, изсипван от отделни контейнери чрез сметосъбиращ камион, оборудван със стандартни повдигащи вилици. Основната цел е разработването на нискобюджетна измервателна система, която може да бъде инсталирана върху широк диапазон от механични конфигурации на камиони с минимални модификации. Доклад на тема: Competing Conceptions of AGI ще изнесе Pei Wang (Temple University, USA), редактор на Journal of Artificial General Intelligence. Резюме: While the term "Artificial General Intelligence" (AGI) has been used to identify a research field for 20 years, a consensus on its goal remains controversial. These divergent interpretations are not merely philosophical, as they lead to fundamentally different research agendas and engineering methodologies. In this talk, the NARS (Non-Axiomatic Reasoning System) project is introduced, with an outline of its assumptions, representations, inference rules, and working process. NARS offers a fundamentally different vision of AGI than the one implied by today’s LLMs.

We demonstrate the technique on various abstract generalizations of the numerical hyperharmonic series, including noncommutative setting and non-invertible setting. As an application, we obtain new necessary consistency condition for the Sylvester equation ax-xb=c[\latex].
