Доклад "ANNSIA - Адаптивна невронна мрежа за анализ на сателитни изображения" ще изнесе ас.  Венцислав Полименов, докторант в секцията.  Докладът представя иновативен подход за оценка на индекса на листна маса чрез мултисензорна дълбока невронна мрежа, комбинираща Sentinel-2 и Landsat 8/9 данни. Изследването адресира две основни предизвикателства, а имено липсата на полеви измервания за обучителни данни и значителните разлики в пространствената и спектралната характеристика между сензорите.  Моделът използва Multi-Sensor U-Net с Conditional Batch Normalization. Това позволява единна обработка на различни сензори и научаване на сензорно-независими представяния на растителността. Доклад на тема: On Pairs of Non-commuting Hermitian Operators on the Unitary Plane which are Permutable Measurements ще изнесе Валентин Илиев (ИМИ-БАН). Резюме. In this presentation we study observables with spectre {-1,1} on quantum systems with the unitary plane as a space of states. Examples of such quantum systems are spin-1/2 particles. We find necessary and sufficient conditions for two non-commuting observables to be permutable measurements, that is, the probability of obtaining a particular pair of results does not depend on the order of taking these measurements. Резюме: We study how conditioning on the first k steps, which we think of as training, affects the long-term behavior of the Elephant Random Walk. На 28 април 2026 г. (вторник) от 14:00 часа в зала 503 на ИМИ-БАН ще се проведе заседание на семинара на секция „Изследване на операциите, вероятности и статистика“. Доклад на тема Моделиране на повдигащи системи в сметосъбирането ще изнесе Михаил Муков от "Интеликс Инженеринг". В настоящото изложение се разглежда задачата за оценяване на масата на отпадъка, изсипван от отделни контейнери чрез сметосъбиращ камион, оборудван със стандартни повдигащи вилици. Основната цел е разработването на нискобюджетна измервателна система, която може да бъде инсталирана върху широк диапазон от механични конфигурации на камиони с минимални модификации. Системата комбинира сензор за налягане на маслото, монтиран в хидравличната верига, и стандартен инерциален измервателен модул от смартфон, фиксиран към повдигащото рамо. Резюме: While the term "Artificial General Intelligence" (AGI) has been used to identify a research field for 20 years, a consensus on its goal remains controversial. These divergent interpretations are not merely philosophical, as they lead to fundamentally different research agendas and engineering methodologies. In this talk, the NARS (Non-Axiomatic Reasoning System) project is introduced, with an outline of its assumptions, representations, inference rules, and working process. NARS offers a fundamentally different vision of AGI than the one implied by today’s LLMs.

We demonstrate the technique on various abstract generalizations of the numerical hyperharmonic series, including noncommutative setting and non-invertible setting. As an application, we obtain new necessary consistency condition for the Sylvester equation ax-xb=c[\latex].
