На 28 април 2026 г. (вторник) от 14:00 часа в зала 503 на ИМИ-БАН ще се проведе заседание на семинара на секция „Изследване на операциите, вероятности и статистика“. Доклад на тема Моделиране на повдигащи системи в сметосъбирането ще изнесе Михаил Муков от "Интеликс Инженеринг". В настоящото изложение се разглежда задачата за оценяване на масата на отпадъка, изсипван от отделни контейнери чрез сметосъбиращ камион, оборудван със стандартни повдигащи вилици. Основната цел е разработването на нискобюджетна измервателна система, която може да бъде инсталирана върху широк диапазон от механични конфигурации на камиони с минимални модификации. Системата комбинира сензор за налягане на маслото, монтиран в хидравличната верига, и стандартен инерциален измервателен модул от смартфон, фиксиран към повдигащото рамо. Доклад на тема Progressively Type-II censored competing risks data from Odd Lindley Half-Logistic distribution ще изнесе Stevo Gjorgiev (Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje). Резюме: A competing risks model based on the Odd Lindley Half Logistic distribution is considered under progressive Type II censoring. Maximum likelihood estimates for the distribution parameters are obtained, and the existence and uniqueness of these estimates are proven. The EM algorithm is applied to solve the log- likelihood equations and construct the s-th EM sequence. Доклад на тема: Competing Conceptions of AGI ще изнесе Pei Wang (Temple University, USA), редактор на Journal of Artificial General Intelligence. Резюме: While the term "Artificial General Intelligence" (AGI) has been used to identify a research field for 20 years, a consensus on its goal remains controversial. These divergent interpretations are not merely philosophical, as they lead to fundamentally different research agendas and engineering methodologies. In this talk, the NARS (Non-Axiomatic Reasoning System) project is introduced, with an outline of its assumptions, representations, inference rules, and working process. NARS offers a fundamentally different vision of AGI than the one implied by today’s LLMs.

Резюме. Туисторните пространства бяха въведени от сър Роджер Пенроуз през 60-те години на миналия век и са обект на активни изследвания и до днес. От диференциално-геометрична гледна точка туисторните пространства са разслоения над Риманово многообразие със слоеве параметризиращи комплексните структури в допирателните пространсва във всяка точка, които са изометрии.
