Тема: Frieze Patterns Дата: четвъртък, 19 март 2026 г., 14:00 - 15:00 ч.  Зала: 478 Лектор: Deepanshu Prasad Резюме: Frieze patterns, introduced by H. S. M. Coxeter and John Conway, are arrays of numbers satisfying a simple local determinant rule. Despite their elementary definition, they have deep connections with combinatorics, cluster algebras, and representation theory. In this talk, I will briefly review classical frieze patterns and then discuss infinite friezes. I will describe their basic properties and illustrate how they arise naturally in combinatorial and representation-theoretic settings. Заповядайте на семинара на секция "Софтуерни технологии и информационни системи", който ще се проведе хибридно на 31 март 2026 г., вторник, от 14.00ч. ( в з. 278 и по ZOOM). Доклад "ANNSIA - Адаптивна невронна мрежа за анализ на сателитни изображения" ще изнесе ас.  Венцислав Полименов, докторант в секцията.  Докладът представя иновативен подход за оценка на индекса на листна маса чрез мултисензорна дълбока невронна мрежа, комбинираща Sentinel-2 и Landsat 8/9 данни. Изследването адресира две основни предизвикателства, а имено липсата на полеви измервания за обучителни данни и значителните разлики в пространствената и спектралната характеристика между сензорите.  Моделът използва Multi-Sensor U-Net с Conditional Batch Normalization. Това позволява единна обработка на различни сензори и научаване на сензорно-независими представяния на растителността. Доклад на тема  Адаптивен образователен софтуер и игрово базирано обучение ще изнесе гост-лекторката Десислава Василева.  Гост-лекторката ще представи изследователски обзор в областта на адаптивния образователен софтуер и игровото базирано обучение, обхващащи три взаимосвързани изследователски линии. Първата се отнася до адаптивни хипермедийни системи и е-обучение, включително формално моделиране на обучаемия и платформа за адаптивна доставка на съдържание. Втората е насочена към игрово базирано обучение и моделиране на играча — класификация на стиловете на игра въз основа на поведенчески данни, физиологична детекция на афективни състояния и платформа за автоматизирано генериране на адаптивни 3D образователни игри.
