Климент Охридски”. \nДоклад на тема \nOn the subregularity of mappings associated to optimization problems\nще изнесе Alberto Dominguez Corella\, University of Graz\, Austria. \nAbstract: This talk is meant as a nontechnical discussion on the concept of metric subregularity and its application to the study of stability in optimization problems. It features equivalences between the property and local error bounds\, as well as theoretical applications\, e.g.\, discretization\, approximation\, and differentiation with respect to parameters. We describe several concrete applications\, including inverse problems and optimal control. Since then\, they have become ubiquitous\, appearing in various contexts in seemingly unrelated areas of Mathematics. In this lecture series\, Ivan Dimitrov introduces and studies root systems and defines a generalization of root systems. He explains how this more general structure applies to various problems\, e.g. hyperplane arrangements. Finally\, he introduces and studies inversion sets of roots. DESCRIPTION:Date and time: Tuesday\, June 2-nd\, 2026\, 13:00\, room 403 IMI-BAS \nLecturer: Bogdan Djordjevic\, (Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences\, visitor at ICMS\, IMI-BAS) \nTitle: Application of the Laplace transform for evaluating sums of hyperharmonic-like series in Banach algebras and modules \nAbstract: In this talk it will be shown how the Laplace transform (in respective Banach spaces) can be utilized for evaluating sums of Banach-space-valued series. We demonstrate the technique on various abstract generalizations of the numerical hyperharmonic series\, including noncommutative setting and non-invertible setting. As an application\, we obtain new necessary consistency condition for the Sylvester equation \(\)ax-xb=c[\latex].

DESCRIPTION:Дата и място: вторник\, 9 юни 2026 г.\, 13:00\, зала 403\, ИМИ-БАН.\nЛектор: Azur Đonlagić (Université Paris-Saclay\nЗаглавие: Brauer-Manin Obstructions for Homogeneous Spaces \nРезюме: In this talk\, we introduce Brauer-Manin obstructions to the Hasse principle and to weak/strong approximation of adelic points on varieties over a global field. We also define variants of these obstructions well-suited for the study of rational points on homogeneous spaces of affine algebraic groups. \nWe then state the main questions considered in this theory and give an account of some developments\, including the speaker’s recent work. DESCRIPTION:Поредната сбирка на \nНационалния семинар по стохастика\nще се проведе на 9 юни 2026 г. (вторник) от 14:00 часа в зала 503 на ИМИ – БАН. \nДоклад на тема \nModified percolation models on lattice graphs\nще изнесе \nViktor Stoyanov (University of Warwick). \nAbstract: We consider modified percolation models on the first quadrant of \(Z^2\)\, where many of the key tools from standard percolation on \(Z^2\) fail\, such as translational invariance. I will begin by defining the standard percolation model on \(Z^d\)\, giving an overview of what is known\, and then give some results which we prove for the first quadrant of \(Z^2\). In the second part of the talk\, I will discuss an anisotropic percolation model on the first quadrant\, with one of the two directions being ‘preferable’\, and show a partial result concerning the strict monotonicity of the connectivity function\, conjectured by de Lima and Procacci (2004).
