DESCRIPTION:Съвместен семинар на секция “Анализ\, геометрия и топология”\nи Международния център за математически науки – София (МЦМН-София) \nConcircularly Semi-Symmetric Metric Connection\nMiroslav Maksimović \nУниверситет на Прищина в Косовска Митровица\, Косовска Митровица\, Сърбия\, и\nИнститут по математика и информатика\, Българска академия на науките \n30 септември 2025 г.\, 11:00 ч. – Зала 403 \nРезюме. A concircularly semi-symmetric metric connection is a special class of semi-symmetric metric connection when its generator is a concircular vector. In this talk\, we will present results on this connection on pseudo-Riemannian manifolds\, and in particular\, we will observe the application to Lorentzian manifolds and the theory of relativity. We demonstrate that a Lorentzian manifold reduces to a GRW space-time when the generator of the observed connection is a unit timelike vector. At the same time\, the mentioned connection becomes a semi-symmetric metric P-connection. At the end\, we determine the equation of state on a perfect fluid space-time. These are the results of a joint work with prof. Milan Zlatanović published in J. Geom. Phys. 217 (2025). \nThe lecturer is supported by the Scientific Programme “Enhancing the Research Capacity in Mathematical Sciences (PIKOM)”\, No. DO1-67/05.05.2022.

Since then\, they have become ubiquitous\, appearing in various contexts in seemingly unrelated areas of Mathematics. In this lecture series\, Ivan Dimitrov introduces and studies root systems and defines a generalization of root systems. He explains how this more general structure applies to various problems\, e.g. hyperplane arrangements. Finally\, he introduces and studies inversion sets of roots. Марин Дринов”\, Българска академия на науките \nThe conference encompasses a wide range of modern topics at the intersection of physics and mathematics\, including conformal field theory\, vertex operator algebras\, integrable systems\, supersymmetry\, gauge theory\, gravity\, cosmology\, quantum information\, and the mathematical structures that connect them. \nIvan Todorov (1933-2024) was a leading Bulgarian theoretical physicist whose contributions to mathematical physics\, conformal field theory\, and the algebraic approach to quantum field theory shaped generations of researchers. He spent his career at the Institute for Nuclear Research and Nuclear Energy (INRNE-BAS) and held many fruitful collaborations with colleagues around the world. Since then\, they have become ubiquitous\, appearing in various contexts in seemingly unrelated areas of Mathematics. In this lecture series\, Ivan Dimitrov introduces and studies root systems and defines a generalization of root systems. He explains how this more general structure applies to various problems\, e.g. hyperplane arrangements. Finally\, he introduces and studies inversion sets of roots.
